About AMG - GLAZE
Description:-
Amg-Glaze is a high performance calcined kaolin powder with Ultra - fine partical size and high brightness. It provides an ease of dispersion in your coating system and improves gloss to your both aqueous and solvent borne inks & coatings. It can be loaded to higher pvc values than other standard extender pigments, without decreasing the gloss level & minimal effect on viscosity. It also acts as a tio2 spacer. It is used in paints and inks to extend prime pigments and also increases the strength to your coatings. It replaces Titanium dioxide by about 15-20% as per your application.
APPLICATION: Both aqueous and solven tinks

FAQs of AMG - GLAZE:
Q: How should AMG - GLAZE be stored to ensure optimal performance?
A: AMG - GLAZE should be kept in a dry, moisture-free area. Proper storage conditions help preserve its shelf life of 12 months from the manufacturing date and prevent unwanted clumping or degradation.
Q: What are the primary applications for AMG - GLAZE?
A: AMG - GLAZE is primarily used for glazing ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, pottery, and vitrified tiles. Its compatibility with standard ceramic frits makes it suitable for a broad range of ceramic surface coatings.
Q: When is AMG - GLAZE ideally incorporated during the ceramic production process?
A: AMG - GLAZE is typically applied as a surface coating after the base ceramic body has been formed and prior to final firing. This ensures a smooth, glossy finish and enhances mechanical strength and stability.
Q: Where is AMG - GLAZE manufactured and in what packaging is it supplied?
A: AMG - GLAZE is manufactured in India and is available in robust HDPE bags or paper sacks, providing reliable protection during storage and transportation.
Q: What benefits does AMG - GLAZE offer compared to other ceramic glazes?
A: AMG - GLAZE stands out for its high mechanical strength, low porosity, excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures, and a glossy, smooth surface finish. Its low water absorption and high purity further enhance finished product durability and appearance.
Q: How is AMG - GLAZE produced to achieve its high quality?
A: The glaze is manufactured using a precise process of calcination and pulverization, followed by sieving to achieve a fine grain size (250325 mesh). This produces consistent granulation and optimal properties for surface application.
